The dashboard surfaces you use once the widget is live, what the Overview page counts, how an answer comes to be called uncertain, and where each signal leads.

Once the widget is on your site, the dashboard is where you watch what visitors ask, what the answers were grounded on, and what your content is missing. The Overview page is the summary; the pages in this section are the detail.

Getting started, then the numbers

A fresh project shows a three-step guide on the Overview page instead of metrics: add your docs, ask it something, put it on your site. The third step completes when the widget's install beacon arrives from a host that is not the dashboard's own. After that, or after you dismiss the guide, the page shows four cards, a chart and the latest conversations.

Answer rateCertain answers as a share of all answersOpen gaps over the last 30 days
Positive feedbackThumbs-up as a share of all votesThe number of votes

The chart is 90 days of answers, certain against uncertain, one column per day, using the rule below. Click a column to open the Conversations page narrowed to the threads that had a message that day. The list beneath it is the newest conversations with a preview of the first answer.

What uncertain means

An answer is uncertain when the assistant refused, or when it answered from a best match that scored under the weak floor (DESKBELL_GAPS_WEAK_SCORE, 0.35 by default). One uncertain answer marks the whole thread, which is the same rule the Gaps page uses to decide what counts as a gap, so the inbox, the thread badge and the gaps list agree.

Certain is a claim about grounding, not correctness: a confidently wrong answer reads as certain until a visitor marks it down.
